Day 1 – Pattaya

Pattaya is a wonderful city and is also known for its beaches, rooftop bars and some amazing sightseeing. Here is a list of things that you can do in Pattaya for 3 days.

Pattaya Beach

Just a km away from Hotel Bella Express and in walking distance, it is the closest beach to the hotel assuming you are at Hotel Bella Express. You will get lounge chairs and also locals would come up to you asking for coconut water or for a beach massage. Both are recommended. Beach Massage (300 THB and Coconut Water 25 THB). The ideal time to spend is around 2-3 hours if you are with a kid or else with your partner you can relax on the lounge chair and soak the sun for an hour and head back to your hotel.

Sanctuary of Truth

Religious construction in Pattaya which is known for its architecture built with wood, Buddhist and Hindu motifs. It has 7 Activities, 6 Photo Points, 3 Shows. It is the largest woodcarving structure. If you are an art and architecture lover, this place is bae for you.

The most famous cabaret show performed by ladyboys is definitely worth watching. The show runs every day and starts from 5 PM Thailand Time with its last show scheduled at 9.30 PM. After the show, you get a chance to click photographs with the ladyboys for 200 THB which are not included in the tickets.

Day 3 – Pattaya

Coral Island and Water Sports (Optional)

If you are in Pattaya and don’t visit coral island then I would say you are an asshole. It’s a definite visit and especially if you are with a female partner. A place to have an underwater walk, parasailing and other water sports activities. The water sports activities will cost you 2500 THB which includes transfer to the coral island. Spend half the day over there come back and take en route to Bangkok which is around 4-5 hours by car or you can also take a bus from Pattaya bus station to Bangkok which will cost you 150 baths – 200 THB and can be booked online.

Day 4 – Bangkok

Bangkok is known for its WAT or you can say temples, the floating market Chao Phraya River, and shopping markets. Here is a complete 3-day plan for Bangkok that can help you cover most of the things.

The Grand Palace

It has been the official residence of the Thailand King till 1925. Now it has become the most visited the tourist place of Bangkok. The palace has been divided into various sections and has the most renowned wat Temple of Emerald, Outer Court, Museum of the emerald buddha etc. No extra charges of Photography. It follows a strict dress code with shoulders covered and legs to be covered below the knee level.

Wat Pho

Wat Pho a Buddhist temple also known as Temple of Reclining Buddha is a great place to visit and see the humungous golden statue of Golden Buddha. It has the largest collection of Buddha images and you will also see Thai locals performing rituals as well.

Wat Arun, Temple of the dawn

Khao San Road Walk – (Shopping & Backpacker Paradise)

If you are on a shoestring budget and want accommodation to be cheap then Khao San Road is the best place. It was earlier famous as rice market but in the last 2 decades, it has become a shopping hub. You will get DVD’s, Handicrafts, clothes, fruits and fake id’s
